Minerva Modellismo Ferroviario was born in 2015 when, fascinated by the world of photoengraving and metal models, I decided to put myself to the test and try to interpret some models, first in TT scale, and then moving on to HO scale.

Why "Minerva"? Simple answer: it's the symbol of the city that hosts me and raised me, Pavia; one of the central squares has the famous statue of Minerva, the Roman goddess protector of artisans and symbol of my university.

After a few years of hiatus due to work and study commitments, in 2022 I'm revisiting everything I'd learned in previous years to launch new models, leveraging the new technologies that have been developed in the meantime. Hence the idea of creating model kits with a single goal: ease of assembly. Of course, it was easy to get carried away by a desire for extreme realism and a near-faithful reproduction of reality, which has given rise to projects for perfectionists who aren't content with compromises.

For me, Minerva isn't a job, but primarily a hobby where I want to have fun and create beautiful models that satisfy me first and foremost and I hope that they can also be appreciated by everyone who comes to visit me at the fair or who visits this site.
